Social media is full of “just as good” claims. Some hold up on paper; many don’t. DupeVerdict lines up two products side by side — the original and the alternative people are talking about — and shows what’s the same, what’s different and what nobody has disclosed.
We say what we couldn’t check
Missing information stays visible. We never guess a percentage, a density or a spec to make a verdict look cleaner.
We don’t sell verdicts
Commissions never change a verdict, the features compared or the order of retailers. Brands cannot pay to be featured.
We keep it narrow and honest
We compare published details, not how a product will look or feel on you. “Similar” never means “the same”.
What we compare
70 comparisons and counting, across Wigs, Skincare, Fragrance, Makeup, Hair tools and Shapewear. Each category has a fixed buying question — for example, the listed key actives in a serum or the lace, density and cap of a wig — set before we look at any pair.
We compare the US versions of products using published ingredient lists, specifications and prices. We do not run lab tests, and we don’t claim two products will perform the same.
Who runs DupeVerdict
DupeVerdict is operated by AkinVault Foundry LLC. We are a small, independent US company. Retailer commissions never influence our comparisons.
